2011 Winter Olympic Welcome Center

We worked this amazing project as 2011 Winter Olympic Welcome Center.

Science World Gold Billboard (<-- Click to see more)

We wrapped a billboard in real 22 karat gold leaf to promote Science World’s Treasure! exhibit, and to dramatize this scientific tidbit: a mere 2 oz of gold can be hammered so thin it can cover a whopping 200 square feet.
The first of its kind, the golden board sparked a media frenzy. It took weeks of painstaking work by Canada’s top gilder Brian Dedora and required a full-time security guard to ward off potential "prospectors".

Credit Unions of BC - ATM game player (<-- Click to see more)

In this interesting project for The Credit Unions of BC an ATM machine was converted into an illuminated "Pac-Man" game kiosk with branded wrapped graphics.

YMCA's Healthy Living Kitchen TSA (<-- Click to see more)

This YMCA ad was to help bring awareness of how much sugar the average person consumes annually with the idea that it would promote better dietary choices

Metro News (<-- Click to see more)

This unit and the dancer's podium (see video) were fabricated and branded to increase Metro's readers per copy. The idea was that the papers could be left in the pidgeon holes when they were read and others could pick them up and read them.

Environmentally Friendly Oil Spill Posters? (<-- Click to see more)

Here's a snippet of the interview between Dogwood and Rethink: Dogwood: [How hard was it to make the posters work correctly?] Rethink: We worked with an amazing printing company in Vancouver called True Colours. They did several rounds of testing to find the right balance and nailed it. The messaging on each poster was printed in a traditional fashion and the overlaying oil tanker was done by hand – so they definitely took some time to make. Obviously, one of our biggest concerns was that the water-soluble ink be 100 per cent environmentally friendly. True Colours assured us ‘it’s so environmentally friendly you could eat it.’ This was comforting to hear for the sake of the environment, and in case we got peckish while putting them up.

Panago Pizza Box (<-- Click to see more)

These huge Panago Pizza boxes were fabricated and covered with branded graphics. They were then affixed to the roof of a Mini "Delivery Car" and driven around the streets of Toronto to communicate the concept of the large size of Panago Pizzas.
